The right candidate will be responsible for: Read and interpret plans, sketches, and job specifications for residential and light commercial projects. Measure, cut, and assemble timber and related materials for repairs, renovations, and installations. Build, repair, and modify framing, decking, pergolas, fences, and other structural elements. Install and adjust doors, windows, skirting, architraves, cabinetry, and general carpentry finishes. Carry out maintenance and repair work on existing timber structures and fixtures. Perform work at heights safely when required, including ladder and elevated platform use. Liaise with clients, trades, and supervisors to ensure jobs are completed to specification. Ensure all work complies with Australian building codes, safety standards, and company procedures. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organised condition. Report job progress, issues, and completed works accurately. About you: At least 1 year of experience as a Carpenter; Skilled in cutting, shaping, assembling, and installing timber and related materials for residential repairs and renovations. Able to read and interpret plans, drawings, and job instructions for a wide range of carpentry tasks. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess issues on-site and implement practical, safe solutions.
