Roles and responsibilities include: Setting up and arranging resources and tools to facilitate children’s learning and play experiences Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting children’s social growth and interpersonal skills Planning and delivering enjoyable and educational activities for children Engage with children through stories, games, and creative entertainment Monitoring children during leisure and group activities to ensure safety and engagement Managing and overseeing children’s daily schedules, including eating, napping, and rest periods Promoting cleanliness and assisting children with hygiene practices You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident to apply. Skills and Qualifications: AQF Certificate III in Early Childhood Learning including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV or higher Valid Working with Children Check Valid First Aid Certificate A thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Great mentoring and leadership skills A passion for providing high-quality childcare and education Experience: 1-year minimum full-time work experience as a child care worker or a related field, in the past 5 years
