Full-time Electronic Equipment Trades Worker position available in Narwee NSW 2209 SSTC Group of Companies is a leading provider of integrated traffic management, security, and industrial services across New South Wales. With a strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational efficiency, SSTC delivers tailored solutions to support construction, utilities, infrastructure, and event-management projects. Their Industrial Services division provides specialised support including CCTV pipeline inspections, confined space monitoring, gas detection, emergency response services, equipment maintenance, and field-based technical operations. On behalf of SSTC, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Electronic Equipment Trades Worker to join their team and contribute for their ongoing success. As an Electronic Equipment Trades Worker, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing and commissioning electronic equipment used across SSTC' s industrial, security, and traffic management operations. Position Responsibilities and Tasks: Install, maintain, test, and repair electronic systems used in CCTV pipeline inspections, confined space monitoring, and industrial diagnostic operations. Service and calibrate gas detectors, atmospheric monitors, sensor systems, and specialised field inspection equipment. Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain robotic CCTV crawlers, fixed cameras, and portable monitoring devices. Install, configure, and maintain electronic traffic control equipment, including portable traffic lights, VMS boards, signage units, and communication devices. Conduct performance testing and ensure compliance of electronic systems used in traffic management and worksite safety. Install, maintain, and repair electronic security systems including CCTV surveillance cameras, alarms, access control units, and patrol monitoring devices. Diagnose faults in wiring, circuits, control boards, and electronic hardware using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal testers. Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, manufacturer manuals, and specifications to perform maintenance and installation work. Perform regular inspections to identify and resolve equipment faults, performance issues, or component failures. Update, configure, and install firmware or software required for electronic equipment operation. Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, fault logs, and equipment performance reports. Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, equipment standards, and operational safety guidelines across all worksites. Provide technical support to field teams during industrial services operations, including confined space entries, emergency monitoring, and CCTV inspection projects. Manage equipment setup, testing, calibration, and readiness for scheduled field operations. Liaise with supervisors and project coordinators to ensure required electronic equipment is functional, available, and compliant. Qualifications and Skills: Certificate III in Electronics and Communications or three years of work experience At least 1 year of proven work experience in installing and maintaining electronic equipment or systems. Strong fault-finding abilities and familiarity with electronic diagnostic tools. Understanding of WHS requirements, particularly in industrial and construction environments. Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications. Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $76,500 - $95,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
