The Role This is not just a technical HR role, we are looking for someone who will be the right cultural fit for our team. Someone grounded, pragmatic, emotionally intelligent, and confident in navigating complex people matters with professionalism and care. You’ll work closely with operational leaders, supporting them to build strong, engaged teams while ensuring compliance and best practice across all HR functions. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day HR advisory support to managers and leaders. Manage employee relations matters including investigations, performance management, and conflict resolution. Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning. Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation and relevant awards. Assist with policy development and implementation. Drive engagement initiatives and support culture-building programs. About You You are a seasoned HR professional with 5 years’ experience in a generalist or advisory role, ideally within hospitality, retail, or another high-volume workforce environment. You bring: Maturity and sound judgement in managing sensitive matters. Confidence in handling employee relations issues end-to-end. A calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and coach managers. A hands-on mindset and willingness to roll up your sleeves when needed. High integrity and discretion.
