Introduction Bellevue Gold Limited (ASX:BGL ) is a high-grade gold mine in Western Australia. The Bellevue mine has an estimated 10 year mine life forecast to produce ~150,000 Au ounces in FY26. Underground mining has occurred since late 2020 to establish multiple mining fronts that de-risks production with exploration potential expected to grow the current high-grade resource. The Bellevue Gold Mine is located approximately 30km north of Leinster township and sits in a major gold and nickel producing district. Description We are seeking to engage a Trainee Work Health & Safety Advisor with a positive and proactive approach to health and safety in the workplace. This position is responsible for assisting with the day‑to‑day function and administration of all Health and Safety–related activities on site, as well as supporting the development and promotion of WHS procedures, policies, and standards, and contributing to the ongoing monitoring of WHS initiatives. We have a skilled and experienced WHS Team who are committed to providing the successful applicant with coaching and mentoring to further develop their career in WHS. The applicant will also be encouraged to join our Emergency Response Team where they will gain further valuable knowledge and skills. Your main duties and responsibilities will include: Help build commitment to continually improving safety performance across the organisation and build the company’s WHS capability by: - Communicating company health and safety policies, procedures, and resources. - Promoting consultation, co-operation, and discussion regarding health and safety practices and initiatives. Conduct regular field interactions with workers to observe, verify, and reinforce safe work practices. Assist with the coordination and management of Health and Hygiene – Noise / Dust / Diesel Particulate / Water monitoring programs. Provide support to the Health and Safety Representatives in carrying out their duties. Develop and maintain a proactive working relationship with employees and contractors on site to ensure a consistent application of risk management strategies and safety culture programs in the field. Assist with inspections, audits and incident investigations across site. Assist with the maintenance of the Mine Safety Management System (MSMS), including necessary procedures, registers, checklist etc. Interface with, management, employees, stakeholders, and contractors on issues related to Health and Safety. Providing support for the day-to-day requests from all site personnel for WHS assistance. Study trend analysis from accidents/incidents, audit finding and advise management on areas of improvement. Assist with the development and delivery of training and awareness packages for Safety & Health initiatives. Assist with the maintenance of the site Risk Register. Assist with the management and review of events in INX database. Assist with the management of the corrective action registers.
