The Team: The Information Coordination Centre (ICC) and Law Enforcement Partnerships team are critical hub for the flow of operational information and knowledge in the agency. The team engage directly with the public, law enforcement, sporting organisations as well as internal and external stakeholders to coordinate the agency's initial response to sport integrity threats. The team encompasses the following functions: The ICC intake and triage reports relating to sport integrity threats, manage critical public contact channels including the agency's 1800 phone line, refer reports of serious nature to internal and external stakeholders, and interrogate and enter data in case and records management systems Law Enforcement Partnerships engage with domestic and international law enforcement partners as well as sporting organisations to maximise information sharing and collaboration opportunities to protect sport from criminal threats Capability harnesses agency expertise and knowledge to ensure the effective and efficient response and investigation of sport integrity threats, which includes delivery of the Information Case Management System projects. The Role: The Assistant Director, ICC provides leadership and operational oversight of Sport Integrity Australia's central function for receiving, triaging, recording and disseminating operational information. The role ensures the ICC, which is located in Canberra, delivers timely, accurate and high quality information coordination and customer service to members of the public, sporting organisations, government and other stakeholders in support of Sport Integrity Australia's integrity objectives. The Assistant Director is responsible for maintaining robust systems, processes and quality assurance arrangements to ensure effective information sharing, sound information governance and compliance with legislative, policy and organisational requirements. A strong understanding of Sport Integrity Australia's functions and interdependencies across teams is essential to ensure information is distributed to the appropriate areas for action and aligned with organisational priorities. As a leader, the Assistant Director fosters a safe, inclusive and high performing work environment, providing direction, supervision and capability development for ICC staff. The ICC staff provide customer service to various members of the sporting community, including supporting affected parties of threats to sport integrity and triaging reports of child safeguarding concerns. The ICC also is responsible for operational support and delivery of the Information Case Management System. The Assistant Director role builds strong internal and external partnerships, enhances organisational capability and reputation, and provides informed advice to the Director on information coordination priorities.
