Purpose As the Director of Sales – Shared Services, you will be responsible for driving sales performance across a portfolio of hotels throughout Australia and maximising commercial opportunities for our Extended Stay portfolio. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth, maximising market opportunities, and acting as the primary commercial partner to hotels across all sales segments. Primary Responsibilities Act as the key sales contact for hotels within the portfolio, supporting property level execution of Accor’s commercial strategy Translate strategic sales plans into actionable property initiatives across corporate, government, MICE, leisure, long-stay and relocation segments Guide hotels in developing and delivering tailored sales plans to achieve performance targets Drive lead generation in collaboration with Accor sales hubs, central sales teams, and external partners Support conversion of qualified leads through proactive follow-up, stakeholder engagement, and multi-property solutions Manage and support key account relationships to drive repeat and incremental business Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and segment dynamics to identify new commercial opportunities Share market insights and recommendations with hotel teams and commercial leadership Support the execution of loyalty initiatives at property level, including ALL Accor program activation Represent Accor in internal forums, brand presentations, and relevant industry events Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing commercial team, fostering capability, engagement, and succession readiness Skills and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Hospitality, or a related field 5 years of experience in a senior hotel sales role, with a proven track record of success Proven ability to deliver strong sales performance and revenue growth Results-oriented with focus on profitability and client acquisition Skilled in developing and executing property-level sales plans Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing market conditions Solid business acumen and data-driven decision-making Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities Agility and resilience in fast-paced environments
