National Manager - Return to Work & Injury Management IntoWork Australia Full Time | Leadership | Health, Safety & Injury Management Location: QLD (Eagle Farm) or VIC (Northcote) or WA (Welshpool) About the Role IntoWork Australia is seeking an experienced National Manager, Return to Work & Injury Management to lead the strategic direction, governance and delivery of our injury management and recovery programs across the organisation. This pivotal position plays a key role in promoting a safe workplace, reducing the impact of injuries, and supporting our people through best‑practice return‑to‑work pathways. You will be responsible for developing policies, overseeing complex workers' compensation matters, guiding early intervention initiatives, and driving continuous improvement across multiple business units nationally. Key Responsibilities Lead the national injury management and return‑to‑work function across the IntoWork Group. Develop and implement policies, procedures and an enterprise Injury Management Framework. Provide expert advice on injury management, workers' compensation, rehabilitation and early intervention. Oversee complex and high‑risk claims, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice. Coach and mentor the Injury Management/RTW Advisor. Monitor and evaluate program performance, costs and outcomes using data‑driven insights. Partner with senior leaders and external providers (insurers, rehab specialists, legal advisors). Deliver executive‑level reporting on performance, risks and improvement initiatives. Champion a culture of safety, wellbeing, accountability and organisational values. Build strong relationships across all IntoWork business units to support injury prevention activities. Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you will have: Qualifications & Checks Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Health, Safety, Rehabilitation or related field Advanced RTW qualification and Level 3 First Aid National Police Check, WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening Check (required) Experience 5 years' experience in occupational rehabilitation/injury management Strong understanding of workers' compensation, legislation and HSE principles Experience managing complex claims and leading RTW programs in industrial or multi‑site environments Demonstrated leadership experience Strong commercial acumen and experience managing program performance and cost drivers High‑level stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills Skills Excellent communication, reporting and policy writing skills Strong analytical ability with a strategic mindset Project coordination, prioritisation and autonomy in a fast‑paced environment Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines Understanding of Workers Compensation audit processes Why Join Us?
