The Psychosocial Recovery Coach (PRC) supports people with NDIS plans by helping them navigate complexity, build confidence, and make meaningful choices. Through strong, recovery‑focused relationships, PRCs turn systems and funding into real-life outcomes, helping individuals define their goals, develop practical skills, and regain control during challenging times. The PRC role is central to helping people reconnect with their strengths, communities, and future. Your day will include: Providing psychosocial recovery coaching to people accessing NDIS mental health supports while maintaining an agreed caseload Building and sustaining trusted relationships that support choice, self-determination, wellbeing, and participation Providing day to day practice guidance, general supervision, and mentoring to Psychosocial Recovery Coaches Acting as a first point of escalation for practice related questions, complexity, and emerging risk, supporting sound judgement Completing and overseeing high quality documentation, reflective practice, and consistent application of recovery principles and NDIS Practice Standards You Will Need: Cert IV in Mental Health Peer Work and/or relevant peer work experience; or, Cert IV in Mental Health, Community Services, or related field, and relevant experience. Demonstrated skills in mental health recovery principles, motivational interviewing, and strengths-based approaches within community based or psychosocial support settings Experience providing informal leadership, mentoring, or practice guidance to colleagues in a mental health or human services environment Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to collaborate respectfully and complete accurate documentation Sound judgement, professionalism, and the ability to respond constructively to complexity, boundaries, and emerging risk The ideal candidate will demonstrate respect, integrity, and professionalism, communicate openly and respectfully, build positive working relationships, and contribute to a supportive, values led team culture through reflection, accountability, and continuous improvement.
