Description Wood delivers maintenance and turnaround services for the Ampol Lytton Refinery and is seeking experienced E&I Technicians for the upcoming mid-year FCCU shutdown. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, high-performing team working on a major refinery event, commencing at the beginning of June for approximately 8 weeks . This short-term role offers strong EBA benefits and rates, all while allowing you to remain based at home. Penalty rates apply. As this is a Brisbane-based role, local applicants are preferred at this time, however, consideration will be given to those living outside of Southeast Queensland with the required skillset and experience. Qualifications Recognised Trade certificate and QLD Electrical trade licence is essential (Electrical Mechanic, Electrical Fitter/Mechanic, Instrumentation) Dual trade qualification in electrical/instrumentation is required, with a Cert III in Instrument and Control OR Cert IV in Electrical – Instrumentation Cert IV in Hazardous Areas (EEHA) required, with expiration date out past mid-August 2026 Current LVR/CPR with expiration date out past mid-August 2026 You will have proven maintenance experience in heavy industry environments for at least 5 years Previous shutdown/T&I experience is a definite advantage Working at Heights, Confined Space and Elevated Work Platform tickets are considered advantageous Must be available to pass a Wood medical , after providing the required certificates, safety tickets and driver’s licence to MyPass.
