About the role As a part of the practice's busy and sought after Government, Environment & Planning Team, you will be responsible for assisting with a wide range of litigation, prosecution and advisory matters, largely across all Victorian Courts and Tribunals. . This will include, but not be limited to:- Prosecution case administration (e.g. preparing, filing and service of court documents) Case and file management (manage appointments, manage documents and correspondence in hard copy and digital files) Document management Prepare bills, prepare and lodge expense claims Provide support with business development, tenders, presentations, conferences, court and advice work Liaise with clients and stakeholders What's on offer On offer is a competitive salary, lots of office perks, hybrid and flexible work options and excellent leave policies. Skills and Experience To secure this exciting opportunity you will have at least 5 years' experience as a Legal Assistant supporting senior practitioners , together with:- Strong understanding of litigation processes and procedures (experience with summary/criminal proceedings an advantage) Client service focus Fast/accurate typing skills and solid technical/software proficiencies Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in fast-paced environments High attention to detail Motivated and flexible approach to work Ability to establish positive working relationships About our client Our client is a leading commercial law firm operating from modern and centrally located CBD offices.
