What you'll do You will lead the Office of the Review Board across compliance, secretariat and ICT functions to ensure the effective oversight and administration of voluntary assisted dying in Queensland. Working closely with senior executives and key stakeholders, you will provide strategic advice, manage critical issues, and strengthen governance, reporting and system performance. Lead and integrate three core workstreams (compliance, secretariat and ICT), ensuring efficient and effective operations. Provide strategic, professional advice to Board members and senior executives on VAD priorities, risks and major projects. Manage high-level stakeholder relationships, including the Department of Health and the Minister's Office, while safeguarding the Board's independence. Drive policy development, governance, legislative compliance, data reporting and continuous improvement across the VAD program. About you We are looking for a senior leader who brings: Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and complex service delivery functions in a health or public sector environment. Strong strategic, analytical and critical thinking skills, with demonstrated success delivering complex programs or projects. High-level knowledge of governance, legislative compliance, and government policy and processes, including briefing at executive level. Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive issues and build trusted relationships at senior levels. Why work with us?
