What you'll do: Due to expansion and growth, Lindsay Australia Limited is currently seeking an Accountant to join the Head Office team based at our Acacia Ridge office. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and working within a small team, this role provides accounting support to the business and exposure to a broad range of functions, including: Manage the month-end accounting cycle Prepare balance sheet reconciliations Prepare management accounts Support compliance reporting Assist with audits Contribute to ad hoc projects What you bring: You will possess strong communication and analytical skills, coupled with a desire to learn and grow within our business. You are self-motivated, a natural problem solver, and have strong time-management skills. You take ownership of your work and continually seek ways to improve processes and commercial outcomes. Key attributes we seek in this role include: Prior experience working in industries such as transport and/or retail Experience with month-end accounting cycles and balance sheet reconciliations Experience preparing management accounts and ad hoc reports Advanced Excel skills Strong relationship management skills Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines Ideally, you hold a bachelor's degree and are undertaking or have completed CA/CPA studies.
