We have a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our Shared Services Team. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will work within the Accounts Payable team to look after St Vincent's Health Australia and other entities in all Accounts Payable matters across New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland. This 12-month fixed term full-time role (with review for permanency) is based in our Bowen Hills Head Office with the ability to work in a hybrid arrangement – WFH and office. Key responsibilities of the role: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders Monitor and respond to high volume email enquiries Process a high volume of invoices through OCR and finance system for approval Review and assess payment documents for validity of transactions Work with stakeholders to review and correct complex three way matching errors Carry out reconciliations of supplier statement to creditor ledger Set up and complete weekly payment runs including payment to overseas entities Things that work for us: Demonstrated Accounts Payable experience (2 years) operating in a high transactional, fast paced and complex environment Creative and innovative thinking, with a willingness to explore and develop new process ideas and see them through to completion Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to collaborate, work as a team and as an individual, and support on multiple priorities simultaneously and seamlessly while maintaining attention to detail and adhering to deadlines Strong computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly – Experience in major ERP system connected with automatic invoice processing system is highly desirable Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently communicate with suppliers and facility based staff Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check under 6 months or the willingness to obtain Things that work for you: Ability to visibly see your impact on the business and its service Hybrid working model – the ability to work from home and our Bowen Hills Head Office Competitive salary packaging options Employee Assistance Program for staff and their families Access to the Fitness Passport (FP) At St Vincent’s we value inclusivity and diversity and acknowledge the importance of creating a work environment that is welcoming, safe, fair and impartial and invites people from all backgrounds to join us.
