The Opportunity Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will take ownership of the finance function, overseeing reporting, compliance, cash flow, and internal controls, while leading and developing a capable accounts and administration team. This is a hands-on role with strategic exposure, perfect for someone who enjoys being close to the numbers but also contributing to broader business decision-making. Key Responsibilities Full month-end close and preparation of comprehensive management reporting packs Cash flow management, wholesale and banking oversight Oversight of accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and statutory reporting Liaison with external accountants, auditors, and banking partners Tax compliance, including BAS, IAS, FBT, payroll tax, and superannuation Leadership and development of accounts, retail admin, and workshop admin teams Continuous improvement of financial processes, controls, and reporting Strong involvement with dealership systems and financial modules About You Background in automotive dealership accounting (highly regarded) Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance CPA or CA qualified (or actively working towards) Confident operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture Comfortable stepping into a leadership role and owning outcomes Why This Role?
