About the Role This is a key front-of-house position where you will play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the office. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients and visitors while also providing essential administrative and secretarial support to the wider team. Your responsibilities will include: Managing a busy reception desk and answering incoming calls with professionalism Meeting and greeting clients and visitors Handling incoming and outgoing mail, scanning and distribution Booking meeting rooms and ensuring they are well presented Photocopying, scanning, filing and general office administration Maintaining front office and shared areas to a high standard Preparing tea and coffee for clients Providing overflow secretarial support, including typing from dictation Assisting partners and staff with ad hoc administrative tasks as required About You You’re someone who genuinely enjoys supporting others and creating a positive first impression . You’re organised, proactive and comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will ideally bring: Previous experience in reception, administration or a similar front-desk role Strong communication and interpersonal skills A professional presentation and warm, welcoming manner Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Confidence using Microsoft Office and general office systems A positive, reliable and team-focused attitude Experience in a professional services or legal environment will be highly regarded but is not essential.
