About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Assistant who is ready to take the next step in their career by joining our Perth team as a Legal Coordinator. In addition to providing administrative support to work authors, this leadership role will have joint responsibility with other Legal Coordinators nationally for the effective day to day operations of the administrative function of the Insurance & Health Department. Duties of this role will include: support the team by answering queries, providing training, and offering ongoing mentoring; manage complex billing issues and oversee monthly reporting and billing processes; prepare accurate and timely reports for clients; work closely with other Legal Coordinators, internal teams, and clients to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations; identify opportunities to improve processes and boost efficiency; coordinate team workloads and foster open, positive communication that encourages feedback. About You If the following sounds like you, we would love to hear from you: 3 years’ experience in defendant insurance litigation experience in client service standards and reporting confidence in using precedent, billing and file management programs; demonstrated leadership qualities and a proactive approach to work; strong communication skills; and ability to provide guidance, mentorship and build strong internal relationships.
