About us The Department of Customer Services, Open Data and Small and Family Business (CDSB) works to improve customer services for Queenslanders, support small and family businesses, and strengthen digital capability across government. Within CDSB, the Digital Economy, Data and Digital Government division leads work to drive a thriving digital economy that enables more accessible and responsive government services. About your role As the Director, Regional Digital Business, you will lead programs that help regional communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, build commercially sustainable digital businesses and participate more fully in Queensland's digital economy. Your work will guide whole of government and departmental initiatives while strengthening relationships across regions, industry and government. Key responsibilities In this role, you will: Lead and manage a team delivering digital and ICT strategies, action plans and program activities. Coordinate program deliverables, milestones, risks and resource requirements. Build strong relationships with Queensland Government agencies, industry stakeholders and other jurisdictions to support collaborative delivery. Establish trusted relationships with regional communities, including First Nations communities, and support increased participation in the digital economy. Lead community engagement activities, including events that build digital capability and business development. Coordinate divisional engagement with regional communities and support evaluation and reporting against Digital Economy priorities. Represent the division at forums and events, providing strategic advice on regional digital business establishment. Lead the design, implementation and governance of grant programs, including financial oversight and contract management. * Prepare high quality correspondence, presentations, project papers, briefing notes and reports.
