What you'll do You will support and enhance the quality and management of information in Queensland Health data collections by providing expert advice, education and support for data standards development, implementation and compliancy assessment. You will maintain and disseminate data definitions, standards and standard reference data sets for Queensland Health information technology systems. You will ensure a consistent and high level of service is afforded to all corporate metadata repository users. About you We are searching for someone who has demonstrated: high level of knowledge and skills in managing the development and implementation of data definitions, classifications and standards, relating to data collections. skills and ability to analyse business information needs using information modelling techniques and the ability to promote the benefits to be derived from information management and the use of information models. ability to identify and analyse complex problems, develop and implement remedial strategies and exercise initiative and responsibility. high level of interpersonal skills in communication, consultation, and negotiation particularly with respect to highly sensitive and confidential data. ability to supervise and manage staff in line with quality human resource management practices with particular reference to employment equity anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety and ethical behaviour.
