Lake Macquarie location Immediate start available 9 day fortnight (Friday off) About the Client Our client is a well-established and busy automotive repair business based in Lake Macquarie, currently seeking an experienced Administration Officer to support the smooth day-to-day operation of their workshop. This is a hands-on, varied role that sits at the centre of the business - ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating people, processes and customer communication in a fast-paced environment. About the Role Reporting directly to the Director, you will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support across the workshop while acting as the primary point of contact for customers, insurers and internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Acting as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email and in person Managing customer enquiries, bookings and general service-related communication Providing timely and professional updates to customers on vehicle repair progress Booking vehicles in for repairs and coordinating workshop schedules Raising, managing and maintaining accurate job cards Monitoring vehicles through the workshop and proactively addressing delays Liaising with insurance companies and assessors regarding repair works Supporting insurance claims administration and documentation Assisting with parts ordering and following up delivery timeframes Performing day-to-day administrative tasks including data entry, filing and record management About You Previous experience in administration and/or reception, ideally within an automotive, mechanical, smash repairs or insurance-related environment Confident using computer systems and the Microsoft Office Suite Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities High attention to detail and accuracy Clear and professional communication skills A proactive, flexible approach and willingness to support a busy workshop team For a confidential discussion about this opportunity, please reach out to Laila Hoy via phone on 0413 778 084 or email on lh@asr.com.au .
