What you'll do Undertake and organise administrative functions for the team by providing services for meetings and events, filing (hardcopy and electronic), answering telephones, organising deliveries. Provide administrative support as directed to the business unit in relation to procurement and contract management Undertake low value, low risk procurement and contract management activities under guidance of senior team Contribute to the development of best practice in business systems by monitoring and reviewing work practices and administrative processes and making recommendations which lead to continuous improvement. Provide efficient and effective support to the work unit by maintaining efficient records management and information management systems and associated reporting. Provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating, negotiating, advising and working collaboratively with others to reach decisions. About you We are searching for someone who has: Demonstrated knowledge and experience finding information on policies and procedures relating to general administration, procurement and contracts and asking questions to ensure a better understanding of issues. Demonstrated ability to monitor task progress against performance expectations and manage and maintain accurate records and files for reporting and other purposes. Experience in building and sustaining positive working relationships with team members, customers and other external stakeholders including participating in teamwork and contributing to team discussions. Demonstrated ability to provide accurate advice on less complex administrative, procurement and contract related activities including the ability to remain positive and respond to pressure in a calm manner. Demonstrated ability to communicate messages clearly and concisely and to prepare documentation that is easy to follow and grammatically correct. Why work with us?
