What you'll do Provide high level epidemiological support and advice for chronic disease epidemiology, surveillance and research using a variety of information sources. Provide recommendations to management, partners and other stakeholders for epidemiology and research, aimed at contributing to evidence-based practice and enhancing clinical and population health outcomes. Contribute to the development of high-priority analytical outputs and surveillance dashboards. Participate and contribute expertise in multidisciplinary forums relating to surveillance and research. Collaboratively initiate and undertake the interpretation and translation of epidemiological data and literature into information that public health practitioners, policy makers, other clinicians and the public can understand and use. About you We are searching for someone with: Demonstrated high level experience and skills in health data collection with a specific focus on survey methodology and analysis. Demonstrated application of high-level knowledge, expertise and skill in epidemiology including proficiency in statistical software such as R and Stata. Demonstrated high level communication skills to produce oral and written presentations and maintain collaborations with a range of stakeholders. Demonstrated high level ability to review, critically appraise and translate epidemiological data and literature into information that public health practitioners, policy makers, other clinicians and the public can understand and use.
