My client is needing a Payroll Officer to manage their payroll. Located in the CBD, this role will see you managing a payroll of approx 400 employees. This role is initially as a temp assignment, with potential for it to become permanent. Hybrid work option available. On a day to day basis, this role will involve: Processing fortnightly payroll of approx 400 employees Using MicrOpay Entering new starters, terminations Maintenance of payroll system and any upgrades Undertaking required reporting, both internal and statutory reporting Ensure timely payment and reconciliation of payroll tax, child support payments, union, and superannuation Report writing, end of month, end of financial year reports in line with financial policies Liaising with staff on payroll related enquiries Generate reports from payroll such as turnover stats, leavers, starters, annual leave accruals etc. Assisting with end of month which involves preparing reports for checking and/or authorisation by Authorisation Officers To be successful in this role, you must have: Excellent knowledge in MicrOpay Strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills A good team player Ability to manage competing deadlines Hourly rate: up to $65 per hour If you would like to apply for this role, press on the apply button, or for a confidential discussion, please contact Celine Guillot on 0415 345 587.
