Synergie Australia is seeking a Business Analyst for a trusted financial institution located in Sydney CBD. The important parts: Pay: $70–$110 per hour Super Duration: 12-month contract (Initially) Hours: Monday–Friday | Approximately 38 hrs per week What you will be required to do: Support project delivery of control activities, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met. Coordinate and lead requirement-gathering workshops with stakeholders. Document detailed business and technical requirements for Service Control Health (SCH) automation. Gather and validate data requirements from source systems. Define and document metrics, thresholds, and data sources for control activities. Participate in solution design reviews and obtain necessary approvals. Secure formal sign-off on requirements and design documentation. Facilitate hand-off to implementation teams (ISG, ServiceNow, Palantir). Submit activities through Front Door channels and track progress to deployment. Maintain project dashboard and contribute to weekly/monthly status reports. Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and promote collaboration. Deliver high-quality customer service and support business needs. To be successful in the role you will: Five years of experience within the banking industry, specifically in Technology &/or in Risk and Controls Management An understanding of Technology Standards, Risk and Controls Proven experience as a successful Business Analyst Ideally, two to five years of experience in a project-oriented role, delivering results as a BA Demonstrated ability to manage and build effective working relationships Tertiary qualifications in Technology Risk or IT or an equivalent industry-recognised certification.
