Our client, a prominent government agency situated Sydney CBD, is seeking a Service Optimisation Specialist for a 6-month contract role. This pivotal position focuses on transforming and optimising systems and processes within their business units to enhance operational efficiency and service experience. The successful candidate will play a central role in supporting and optimising technology platforms, particularly the Infor Pathway system, which underpins Planning Assessments, Construction and Building, and Health and Building functions. Acting as the liaison between business units and IT teams, you will craft and execute a multi-year roadmap that maximises system capabilities, including exploring AI and integration opportunities spanning a 2-3 year horizon. What you must have: Previous experience using Infor Pathway this is non negotiable as you will be giving workshop training on it. Your responsibilities will include: Collaborating closely with IT and business stakeholders to align technology strategies with divisional objectives. Representing business interests on technology projects to ensure solutions meet user needs and are delivered efficiently. Partnering with Process and Data Analysts to gather requirements and design effective solutions. Championing system adoption and providing user training to maximise platform utilisation. Evaluating and recommending improvements for the use of systems such as the Pathway Inspections module and alternatives like Safety Culture i-auditor. Supporting initiatives including the e-planning program through design and user testing activities. This role offers opportunities to lead the integration of innovative technologies, including AI, to automate processes and accelerate project delivery. You will engage with diverse stakeholders to influence system enhancements and secure executive support and funding for key initiatives. This position requires experience in service optimisation, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions within a government or similar regulated environment.
