About the Role We are seeking an experienced Formwork Leading Hand to join our construction team on high-quality residential and commercial projects in the Gold Coast region. You will lead a small team of formwork carpenters and labourers, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of formwork carpenters and labourers on site. Read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications. Plan daily tasks, allocate resources, and manage workflow efficiently. Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations. Mentor and provide on-the-job training for team members. Liaise with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth operations. Skills & Experience Required Proven experience as a formwork carpenter with previous leading hand experience. Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to read and interpret plans accurately. Knowledge of commercial formwork systems (Peri, Doka, RMD) preferred. Current White Card , with additional tickets (Dogging, EWP, Rigging) advantageous. Commitment to safety, quality, and a positive team culture. What We Offer Competitive hourly rate of $60–$65/hr.
