Description About the Role The School is seeking an organised and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our Finance team in a full-time role, available now. As the Finance Officer, you will contribute to the effective management of the School's financial operations through accurate processing, reconciliation, and customer service. This role oversees accounts payable and receivable processing, tuition fee management, daily banking and reconciliations, asset and donation recording, and ensuring compliance with GST and FBT requirements. The Finance Officer also supports end-of-month processes, and provides responsive assistance to parents, staff, and external stakeholders. About You The successful candidate will possess: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as Business or Accounting A minimum of five years' experience working in a similar role in a medium to large organisation An understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Australian Taxation Law (GST and FBT) A high level of integrity, diplomacy, discretion, and confidentiality Eligibility for a Working with Children Check (also known as a Blue Card).
