For our group company, Interamerican Coffee Pty Ltd , we are looking for a Coffee Trader (f/m/d) . The position will be based in Melbourne and will reports directly to Operations Manager based in Sydney. About us InterAmerican Coffee is a leading coffee import business, connecting roasters with the finest coffees from around the world. With a strong presence in Sydney, we are expanding our trading operations to focus on Victoria and South Australia, supporting the vibrant coffee culture in Melbourne and beyond. Your responsibilities Relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with coffee roasters across Victoria and South Australia Business development: Identify and pursue new opportunities to expand market share and grow the customer base Trade execution: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and trading terms with clients & suppliers Market monitoring: Track coffee market trends, pricing movements, and supply chain dynamics to support trading strategies Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance Brand representation: Represent InterAmerican Coffee Australia at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings Trade analysis: Provide market insights and client feedback to support sourcing and procurement decisions Sales performance: Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth Your profile Relevant experience: Proven experience in trading, sales, or account management, with coffee industry experience highly desirable Commercial acumen: Strong commercial judgement with the ability to identify opportunities and close deals Relationship builder: Our clients are at the heart of everything we do.
