The purpose of this job is to manage and optimise our core health processing systems, with a particular focus on the Eclipse platform (Electronic Claim Lodgement and Information Processing Service Environment), Hospital Case mix Protocol (HCP) reporting and updates, Diagnosis-Related Group (DRG) processing and updates, and ICD-10-AM/ACHI/ACS functionality and updates. This involves overseeing system performance, upgrades, compliance, and integration with provider data; implementing regulatory updates; conducting audits; and driving process improvements. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, provide technical support and training and represent Bupa in key industry working groups. Your work ensures Bupa’s health information meets regulatory standards and supports both day-to-day operations and supports our longer-term strategy. You’ll play a key role in improving processes that directly impact customer experience and business objectives. This is a permanent, full-time role that can be based in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney or Adelaide. What you’ll need to make it possible: Extensive experience with health claims processing platforms, preferably Eclipse. Strong working knowledge of DRG, ICD, ACHI ACS coding standards.
