Job Description We’re looking for a Cyber Security ( Operational Technology ) Engineer to join our team and help safeguard the future of our business at Viva Energy Australia. In this role, you’ll design, implement, and support cutting-edge security controls across Operational Technology (OT) , Information Technology (IT) , and IoT environments . You’ll be the go-to expert for secure operations, compliance, and continuous improvement partnering with stakeholders to deliver practical, business-focused solutions. Responsibilities Technical Skills Excellent knowledge of cyber security principles, management frameworks, and practices, particularly relating to OT. Experience with application whitelisting, SASE, firewalls, proxy, email filtering, anti-malware, DLP, cloud platforms, and other security technologies. Familiarity with DevSecOps, automation, and orchestration tools. Experience with vulnerability management/scanning, web application security, API security, Zero Trust, PAM, NDR, UEBA, and network-based encryption. Proficiency with Microsoft (Azure, O365), Linux (Red Hat), and mobile platforms (iPhone & Android). Soft Skills Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Ability to identify, assess, and communicate cyber security risks. Leadership Experience providing thought leadership or mentoring within a cyber security context
