With strong focus on billing integrity, credit performance, customer outcomes, and compliance, this organisation is investing heavily in data-led governance and executive insight across its portfolios. About the Role As a Senior Portfolio Analyst, the core focus of this role is to translate policy and regulatory requirements into clear dashboards, reporting, and KPIs across customer, billing, and credit portfolios. Rather than pure execution, this role centres on interpretation, translation, and insight, enabling senior leaders to understand regulatory intent, risk exposure, and performance at portfolio level. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across Risk, Sales, Service, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer teams, helping shape how policy, regulation, and compliance obligations are measured, monitored, and governed. You will perform hands-on data wrangling across multiple sources to shape accurate, reliable, and meaningful insights before presenting them in executive-ready formats Experience within authentication/ID or credit and billing environments is highly regarded but not a pre-requisite. Key Responsibilities Translate policy and regulatory requirements into meaningful dashboards, reporting, and KPIs Deliver portfolio-level insights across customer, billing, and credit initiatives Report on billing and credit key performance indicators, including accuracy, remediation, debt, leakage, and customer impact Provide actionable insights on compliance, risk exposure, and portfolio performance Interpret complex policy and regulatory obligations and translate them into measurable outcomes Partner with senior stakeholders across Risk, Sales, Service, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer teams Support portfolio governance, prioritisation, and executive decision-making forums Produce executive-ready dashboards, reporting packs, and insights for leadership audiences and external regulators Ensure data integrity, consistency, and traceability across portfolio reporting and KPI frameworks Continuously improve portfolio reporting, insight quality, and performance measurement practices Key Selection Criteria Proven experience as a Senior Portfolio Analyst / Portfolio Insights / Senior PMO Analyst Strong experience translating policy, regulation, or risk frameworks into reporting and KPIs Experience across customer, billing, credit, or identity/authentication domains preferred but not pre-requisit Strong capability in Tableau and/or Power BI Demonstrated ability to work closely with senior stakeholders, interpreting intent rather than simply executing tasks Strong analytical, communication, and executive reporting skills Comfortable operating in complex, regulated environments What's on Offer $800 - $950 per day inclusive 6-month contract with extension potential High-visibility role influencing how policy and regulation are governed, measured and reported on Melbourne CBD location with hybrid working Immediate or near-immediate start
