The Thunderbird Mine is located mid-way between Derby and Broome, in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Description About the Role We're looking for a People Systems Analyst to join our People team and take ownership of our HRIS platform (ELMO). In this role, you'll be the go-to expert for system administration, workforce data, and reporting—ensuring our people systems are reliable, accurate, and support evidence-based decision-making across the business. You'll spend your time optimising ELMO configurations, building dashboards and reports that drive insights, troubleshooting system issues, and supporting our team to get the most out of our people systems. While you'll also provide operational support to our recruitment and onboarding processes, the real heart of this role is keeping our systems running smoothly and turning data into meaningful business intelligence. What you'll be doing System Ownership (ELMO): Build and configure ELMO workflows and system administration. Act as the Super User managing system setup, troubleshoot issues, and ensure our data is 100% accurate across Recruitment, Onboarding, and Core HR. Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the full lifecycle of recruitment for site and corporate roles—from job briefings and advertising to contracts and onboarding. HR Operations: Manage the People & Recruitment inboxes, ensuring every query is answered fast, and oversee the generation of employment letters. Data & Reporting: Create the monthly People Dashboard and provide the data insights we need to make smart people decisions. Skills And Experiences What We're Looking For Essential 2 years in an HR Systems role, HR Analyst position, or similar HRIS administration experience Proven experience administering ELMO modules (Core HR, Onboarding, Recruitment) or ability to become a superuser quickly Advanced Excel skills for reporting, data validation, and analysis Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems High attention to detail with a systems-focused, analytical mindset Demonstrated experience managing data integrity and performing data quality checks Nice to Have VBA and/or Power BI experience SQL or data query language experience Experience with other HRIS systems and HR reporting tools Knowledge of the mining/resources sector Relevant tertiary qualification in HR, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field Experience with workflow design and process optimisation About the Benefits In addition to joining our values focused team , you would also be eligible for the following benefits: Perth Based: St Georges Tce location with occasional site travel to the Kimberley.
