The Opportunity We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to lead the HR function for our Western Australian Cru Services operations. Based in Perth and acting as a trusted advisor to the WA leadership team, this critical role acts as the essential bridge, translating strategic executive vision into concrete, day-to-day P&C support. Key Responsibilities This is a comprehensive HR Generalist role managing the full employee lifecycle: Culture & Leadership: Champion the CRU Ideology and Employee Value Proposition (EVP). Develop and implement targeted leadership training and coaching to enhance managerial effectiveness. Workforce Strategy: Proactively manage retention strategies and optimize performance management systems (including PDs and appraisals) to drive continuous improvement and career planning. Employee & Industrial Relations: Lead the resolution of complex and sensitive ER issues. Ensure meticulous compliance with the Fair Work Act and relevant Australian employment laws within the mining/industrial sector. Change Management: Provide expert consultation and support on managing organizational change and integration initiatives as we align with the broader Group. Experience, Education, & Knowledge Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in an HR Management or Senior HR Advisor capacity. Sector Knowledge: Prior experience within the mining, fabrication, or construction sector is essential. High-level knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial relations is critical. Education: A qualification in Human Resources or Business is preferred. Professional HR certification (e.g., AHRI) is a strong advantage.
