Talent Acquisition Specialist - Located in Forrestfield, Western Australia We’re looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to deliver high-quality in -country recruitment across engineering, manufacturing, technical, business development and functional roles - while also lifting how talent acquisition is done is done across a global organisation. Reporting to the General Manager - People & Culture, this standalone talent specialist role suits someone who enjoys hands-on recruiting , but also wants to shape frameworks, influence leaders, and build sustainable talent pipelines in a business that is scaling internationally. Work across manufacturing (blue and grey collar), engineering, product and commercial portfolios Influence and improve sourcing and recruitment practices across APAC, Americas and EMEA Balance end-to-end delivery with process design and continuous improvement Partner closely with senior leaders Play a key role in workforce planning and future capability building What you’ll be doing Deliver end-to-end recruitment Design and implement consistent, scalable recruitment processes aligned to global standards Coach and partner with hiring managers on structured, inclusive hiring practices Proactively source scarce talent using LinkedIn Recruiter and direct search techniques Build talent pipelines for critical roles to reduce time-to-fill during growth phases Provide market insights on talent availability, remuneration and hiring challenges Manage offer processes, approvals and contracts in partnership with People & Culture Maintain accurate ATS data, reporting and compliance across jurisdictions Contribute to employer branding initiatives, early career pipelines and industry engagement You’ll be a great fit if you have: 3-5 years’ experience in end-to-end resourcing and recruitment Proven experience recruiting engineering, manufacturing, business development and functional roles in global, matrix or high-growth organisations Strong sourcing capability and confidence engaging passive candidates Experience improving or implementing recruitment processes and frameworks Ability to work across multiple roles, stakeholders and time zones Strong communication skills and credibility with hiring managers High attention to detail and strong compliance mindset Experience using an ATS (JobAdder highly regarded) and LinkedIn Recruiter Exposure to heavy industry, fabrication, OEM, mining services or engineering Workforce planning, talent analytics or employer branding experience About Us Schlam Payload is the global expert in load and haul attachments Headquartered in Western Australia, one of the largest and most productive mining regions on earth, Schlam is a mining services business with a very specific focus – load and haul equipment.
