About the Role This is a rare opportunity to step into a hands-on compliance role within a growing, values-driven investment and property development group. Working closely with the Head of Legal, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the organisation’s compliance framework across managed investment schemes and development activities. This role is very much operational and execution-focused , with genuine exposure to senior stakeholders and broad responsibility across compliance, risk and governance. Key Responsibilities Monitor and interpret regulatory and legislative changes, assessing impact on the business Draft, implement and maintain compliance policies, procedures and registers Assist with preparation, execution and record-keeping of fund and investment documentation Coordinate ASIC lodgements and regulatory reporting Conduct internal reviews, risk assessments and controls testing Support audit preparation, including document collation and version control Provide compliance advice and guidance to internal stakeholders Investigate compliance issues and assist with remediation actions Deliver compliance training and awareness initiatives Support and mentor junior compliance staff as required About You 2–4 years’ experience in a legal, compliance, risk or regulatory role Exposure to financial services, funds, investments, banking or property-related environments preferred Strong understanding of regulatory obligations and compliance frameworks Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Comfortable working autonomously in a hands-on role Confident communicator who can work closely with legal, finance and commercial teams High level of integrity and professionalism What’s on Offer Salary of $80,000–$100,000 super , depending on experience Brisbane CBD location in a modern, centrally located office Supportive and collaborative team culture Direct exposure to senior leadership and General Counsel Genuine opportunity to grow with the business Training, development and mentoring on the job For more information, please contact Ross Dakin at Peppercorn Recruitment on 0431267250.
