Current Vacancies Exist Across The Following Divisions, However This Process May Be Used To Fill Identical Vacancies Across Other Revenue Lines In Brisbane The Royalty & Complex Assessments division is responsible for royalty, complex duties, foreign surcharge ex gratia, charitable institutions, and serious non-compliance functions. This vacancy will directly conduct, and lead a team of investigators in conducting, complex audits and investigations or making complex determinations in relation to Queensland's revenue laws, using a risk-based revenue management approach. You will also contribute to the development and delivery of strategic divisional objectives in collaboration with divisional leadership. The Duties & Grants division is responsible for conducting transfer duty assessments, administration of grants, registration and support to our self assessors and approved agents, and compliance activities to manage our revenue risks. and compliance activities to manage revenue risks. The AO7 Senior Investigator - Level 3, will lead a small team of investigation officers to progress insurance duty compliance initiatives. Your typical day as a Senior Investigations Officer - Level 3 may include: conducting and leading audits and compliance activities in relation to Queensland's revenue laws. developing and monitoring a specific compliance program. stakeholder and industry representative engagement and relationship management. providing leadership, coaching, guidance, support and feedback to your team. contributing to strategic and operational planning at divisional and team level.
