Please note that the recruitment of this position has an extended application period of 6 weeks due to advertisement in the lead up to the Christmas and New Year period Your key responsibilities: Prepare and provide high level advice in the application of evidence, theory and judgement in planning, implementing and evaluating preventive health policy and interventions in a range of settings. Identify, analyse and convey complex ideas and information to a range of stakeholders in relation to preventive health policy and reform. Collaborate with key government and non-government stakeholders to support a whole-of-system approach to preventive health and improve the coordination of preventive health interventions for whole of population and high-risk population groups. Role fit The essential requirements for this role are: Demonstrated high level ability to critically analyse information and data and provide evidence-based advice to colleagues, senior management, and other stakeholders on a range of preventive health issues. Demonstrated high level planning and project management skills, including experience in the coordination, development, implementation and evaluation of state-wide public health interventions. Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to work as part of a high performing team, communicate confidently to a range of internal and external audiences and undertake effective negotiation and consultation processes.
