What you'll do Undertake research tasks and analysis of data and information to inform health service planning advice, development and monitoring; as well as project work. Undertake project work to support the team in meeting project milestones and key deliverables. Contribute to the critical analysis of components of health service plans and other documentation related to health service planning. Contribute to the preparation of advice on the quality of local health service planning and the extent to which planning aligns with Queensland Health service directions and priorities. Contribute to the ongoing refinement of the health service planning process, including the development of tools and resources. Develop and or contribute to the preparation of timely and well researched correspondence, discussion papers and reports. About you We are searching for someone who has: Ability to work concurrently on multiple bodies of work and with some level of autonomy Analytic and research skills including the ability to identify suitable theory and evidence, critically analyse, summarise and apply the results in planning documents, reports and submissions. Ability to use the Microsoft Office suite with sound experience in using data analysis programs (e.g., Microsoft Excel), reference management programs e.g. (Endnote) and willingness to develop skills to use other software programs as required e.g. (PowerBi, Content Manager). High level of communication skills, both written and oral. Knowledge of, or ability to rapidly acquire of knowledge of, the health system and structure. Why work with us?
