As a Grants Processing Officer within Community Recovery, you play a crucial role in providing support through the processing of key financial grants. Your work is focused on delivering exceptional support by efficiently handling Queenslanders’ grant applications. With your dedication to detail and commitment to timely assistance, you ensure that the process is smooth and straightforward for applicants. By doing so, you're not just processing applications; you're directly contributing to easing the immediate challenges faced by individuals and families, helping them on their path to recovery. On a day-to-day basis, this role will see you: • Process Grant Applications: Handle grant applications verifying applicant information in line with current procedures to ensure swift, accurate assistance. • Maintain Data Integrity: Uphold the highest level of confidentiality and accuracy in managing applicant records, safeguarding personal and sensitive information. • Enquiry Resolution: Respond promptly and effectively to enquiries, providing clear, concise, and compassionate communication to assist applicants through the process. • Application Assessment: Review and assess grant applications against defined criteria to determine eligibility, requiring attention to detail and adherence to policies. • Collaboration: Work closely with other teams as required to gather additional information or clarification that may be required to process applications efficiently. • Documentation: Accurately document interactions, decisions, and outcomes, ensuring a reliable and transparent audit trail. System Proficiency: Proficiency with systems for data entry. Compassion and Sensitivity: Ability to provide compassionate and sensitive support to individuals experiencing trauma. Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to troubleshoot and manage issues effectively. Adaptability: Flexibility in managing ambiguity and responding to rapidly changing conditions.
