Job Description Personalised career progression plans to help you achieve your goals Join a business with an excellent safety record as well as robust systems and process's Competitive salary in line with experience Acciona Bonus Incentive Scheme The Assistant Contracts Administrator supports the successful delivery of the project by managing contract documentation, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and facilitating communication between subcontractors and the project team. This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and administering contracts, managing variations and claims, and ensuring timely payments. The Project The project includes the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the plant with first production in 2028. Works include marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks. Key Accountabilities Strong understanding of head contracts and subcontract agreements, including compliance with timing and notice requirements Ability to prepare, review, and maintain accurate contract documentation, work scopes, and progress claims Experience in arranging quotations, coordinating post-tender negotiations, and recommending subcontractors Competence in managing progress claims, payment authorities, variations, and extension of time claims Ensuring subcontractor approvals, insurance checks, and adherence to legal and safety requirements before work commencement Effective liaison between subcontractors, clients, and project teams to ensure smooth contract execution Ability to assess claims, evaluate tenders, and resolve contractual issues promptly High level of accuracy and organizational skills in compiling documents and managing multiple contract processes simultaneously Required Skills and Competencies Strong knowledge of contract administration processes and legal compliance Proficiency in preparing and managing contract documentation and progress claims Skilled in tendering, negotiation, and subcontractor management Ability to analyze and resolve contractual issues, variations, and claims Excellent organizational and communication skills for coordinating multiple stakeholders What we offer At ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
