This role involves managing financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Operating as a medium-sized entity, it provides a supportive and professional work environment for its employees. Description Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and regulations. Oversee financial reporting processes and maintain accurate records. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and advice. Manage the preparation of tax returns and liaise with auditors as required. Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures. Support the development of financial strategies and policies. Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost efficiencies. Profile A successful Group Accountant should have: A recognised accounting qualification (CA/CPA or equivalent). Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations. Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis within the Not For Profit sector. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
