As a Fund Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely accounting, reporting, and reconciliation services across a diverse portfolio of managed funds and investment products. You’ll work closely with clients, custodians, and internal teams to ensure exceptional service and high-quality outcomes. Description What you’ll do Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly NAV calculations, unit pricing, and reconciliations Prepare journals, accruals, and maintain general ledger accuracy Support financial statement preparation and assist with tax calculations and distribution processes Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks across cash, positions, and valuations Work closely with clients and stakeholders to resolve queries and provide timely support Assist with external audit processes and prepare supporting documentation Contribute to process improvements, operational controls, and continuous optimisation initiatives Skills And Experiences What you’ll bring Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or similar (essential) 1–3 years’ experience in fund accounting, fund administration, financial reporting, or investment operations Strong understanding of managed funds, financial instruments, unit pricing, and valuation principles Excellent attention to detail, analytical capability, and proficiency in Excel Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships A proactive, collaborative mindset and a desire to grow in a fast-paced, high-performing environment Progress toward CA/CPA is an advantage About Us Automic is a market-leading technology company delivering financial market infrastructure for the mission-critical needs of investors and issuers across Australia.
