About the role Provide advanced nursing care within the Alcohol and Drug Service, functioning as a Nurse Practitioner with an extended scope of practice, including assessment, diagnosis, prescribing, and leading nurse-led models of care to improve patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Deliver advanced clinical assessment, care planning, and management for patients with alcohol and drug-related health needs. Prescribe medications, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and provide specialist interventions within scope of practice. Lead service planning, quality improvement initiatives, and support research to enhance evidence-based care. Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and consultation to interprofessional teams and nurse practitioner candidates.
