About the role Provide specialist geriatric care and clinical leadership within the OPEN Dementia Crisis Service and Long Stay Service, focusing on community-based management of behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia and other geriatric syndromes. Key Responsibilities Deliver expert geriatric assessment, management, and continuity of care for patients with BPSD and related conditions. Provide medical leadership and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, GPs, and RACF staff to optimise patient outcomes. Support education and training for staff and trainees on evidence-based dementia care practices. Contribute to research, quality improvement initiatives, and development of clinical pathways for OPEN services.
