About the Role The Attendance Officer plays a critical role in supporting student engagement and success by ensuring accurate attendance monitoring and fostering strong connections between the school and families. Key responsibilities include: Monitoring daily student attendance, generating reports, and sharing updates with school leaders and teaching staff. Communicating with parents/carers to verify absences and support strategies to improve attendance. Collaborating with student support teams to identify barriers to attendance and assist with early intervention strategies. Maintaining accurate attendance data in OneSchool and managing records for students with complex circumstances. Providing general administrative support, including assisting at the student counter and managing timetable variations.
