Our Restructuring & Recovery team administer all forms of insolvency, reconstruction and recovery appointments, no matter the size or the issues at hand. In this role, you will leverage your experience and accounting and finance skills to oversee small to medium appointments, prepare briefs and oversee commercial litigation, conduct solvency analyses and prepare detailed reports. You will also stay current with industry practices and contribute to our firm's continuous improvement and culture. Report directly to directors and mangers on day-to-day operations of appointments Lead diverse investigations Liaise with creditors, banks, and statutory authorities Investigate distressed companies' financial affairs Collaborate on complex technical issues with directors, managers, and business leaders Prioritise and manage workloads to meet deadlines Analyse financial statements and related data Conduct high-level solvency analyses Prepare detailed reports and client communications. Skills And Experiences What you’ll bring Tertiary qualifications in Business/Commerce with an Accounting major or equivalent CA/CPA qualified or in progress Proven Australian experience in a similar role within an insolvency environment across personal and corporate insolvency Comprehensive knowledge of technical accounting concepts and including Corporations Act 2001, Bankruptcy Act 1966 and relevant insolvency law. Previous experience with computerised accounting systems e.g. INSOL, XERO, MYOB, etc A high level of emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills Proven time management skills, high level of attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure Excellent interpersonal, communication skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork and the ability to build strong relationships with relevant stakeholders.
