This newly created role sits within their AgTech portfolio, supporting two purpose-led software businesses that help farmers and growers drive productivity, profitability, and sustainability. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Finance (Toronto-based), you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, building scalable processes, and driving performance across both the Australian and New Zealand operations. This is a career-defining opportunity designed as a succession role with a clear pathway to Finance Controller / Director of Finance within 3–4 years. Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end financial management month-end, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Deliver strategic insights and commercial analysis to inform key business decisions. Support the transition to Sage and integration of future acquisitions. Partner with leaders to strengthen financial visibility and operational excellence. Lead and mentor a growing finance team as the portfolio expands. About You You’re a confident, hands-on finance professional ready to move from analysis to leadership. You bring strong technical foundations, commercial curiosity, and the drive to grow. You’ll bring: CA or CPA qualified (or near completion). 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally Big 4–trained with industry exposure. Strong grasp of reporting, forecasting, and revenue recognition (SaaS desirable). ERP experience (Sage, NetSuite, or similar). A proactive mindset, comfortable working autonomously across time zones.
