The Client: VIITE Pty Ltd, trading as Victorian International Institute of Technical Education, is a registered organisation that with several campuses located across Australia. The Role: The position for hire is a HR Advisor and will be for a full time basis set between $80,000 to $90,000 per annum, and will be based at their Melbourne CBD office. The Responsibilities: Arranging for advertising of job vacancies, interviewing and testing of applicants, and selection of staff Maintaining personnel records and associated human resource information systems Providing advice and information to management on workplace relations policies and procedures, staff performance, and disciplinary matters Arranging the induction of staff and providing information on conditions of service, salaries, and promotional opportunities Receiving and recording job vacancy information from employers such as details about job description, wages, and conditions of employment Providing information on current job vacancies in the organisation to employers and job seekers Undertaking negotiations on terms and conditions of employment, and examining and resolving disputes and grievances Studying and interpreting legislation, awards, collective agreements, and employment contracts, wage payment systems, and dispute settlement procedures Developing, planning, and formulating enterprise agreements or collective contracts such as productivity-based wage adjustment procedures, workplace relations policies and programs, and procedures for their implementation Overseeing the formation and conduct of workplace consultative committees and employee participation initiatives Coordinating staff training and professional development programs to enhance skills and performance Implementing and monitoring compliance with hr policies and procedures Conducting performance reviews and providing feedback to employees Advising on occupational health and safety standards and ensuring compliance The Requirements: At least a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Advanced knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Australia Proficiency in HR software and systems (e.g., HRIS, ATS) is desirable Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or other related degree preferred At least 4 years' experience in the field of human resources in a corporate setting At least 4 years' proficiency in using human resource information systems (HRIS) and maintaining personnel records At least 4 years' experience with job advertising platforms and applicant tracking systems for recruitment processes At least 4 years' expertise in interpreting and applying workplace relations legislation, awards, and employment contracts At least 4 year's experience to conduct effective staff inductions and provide comprehensive information on employment conditions and opportunities Skills in negotiating terms and conditions of employment, and resolving disputes and grievances At least 4 years' experience in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and enterprise agreements in a corporate setting Ability to achieve results through consultation, negotiation, advice and facilitation Demonstrated initiative and commitment to continuous improvement with a key focus on business and its people
