About the role: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Manager – Health, Safety and Environment to partner with our Regional Leadership Team and operationalise Kinetic’s strategic People Plan at a local level. This role will provide expert HSE advice, lead safety culture initiatives, and ensure compliance with workplace regulations and international standards. Key Responsibilities: Deliver cyclical HSE activities to minimise incidents and injuries Provide expert advice on HSE matters, both simple and complex. Lead health, safety, and wellbeing change management initiatives. Report on trends and develop actionable recommendations for improvement. Foster a safe and values-driven work environment. Ensure compliance with workplace regulations and international standards. Collaborate with the broader People and Safety team, particularly the HSEQ Centre of Excellence, to deliver Kinetic’s People Plan within your region. Provide strategic and tactical advice to the Executive General Manager on complex or escalated safety and environmental matters, including leading investigations where required. Support Kinetic’s safety culture and strategy, leading the integration of health, safety, and wellbeing change management while ensuring compliance with all legislative obligations. Lead your team to provide expert advice, safety leadership, and guidance in the field. Report on trends and outcomes regularly, developing and implementing recommendations for improvement. Ensure Kinetic’s compliance with workplace regulations and alignment with relevant international standards. Regularly collating and reporting on trends and outcomes for key external stakeholders and internal business units. Lead and manage a team of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Specialists, ensuring effective collaboration and high performance to meet organisational safety goals. What you'll bring: Bachelor’s degree in health, safety, environment, or a related field. Proven track record in supporting leaders to manage workplace health and safety. Experience with quality management systems (AS/NZS4801, ISO14001, ISO9001). Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Highly organised with attention to detail and multitasking ability Emotional intelligence, ethics, and wellbeing orientation. Ability to unite people around a common purpose.
