Your New Role Are you ready to shape the future of commercial management at AustralianSuper? As our Commercial Manager, Vendor Relationships , you’ll lead the commercial strategy and execution across our key service providers, ensuring commercial discipline, contract compliance, and risk oversight are embedded in every vendor relationship. You’ll drive commercial outcomes, and pricing reviews to optimise cost, while developing frameworks that include fee schedules, service credits, and performance incentives. You’ll partner with Strategic Relationship Managers, Sourcing and business owners to align vendor outcomes with Fund priorities, and use your expertise to deliver insights, reporting, and continuous improvement through commercial levers. This is a unique opportunity to make your mark—helping uplift our commercial management maturity, supporting CPS 230 compliance, and building strong, trust-based relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. What You’ll Need Extensive experience in commercial management, contract negotiation, and supplier governance. Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex pricing models and commercial terms. Proven track record in driving commercial outcomes and cost optimisation in multi-vendor environments. Ability to influence and communicate effectively across senior internal and external stakeholders. Familiarity with contract & supplier management plans and strategic vendor segmentation. Collaborative approach and ability to build trust-based relationships with vendors and colleagues. Experience working in high-pressure situations, particularly during negotiations and escalations.
